Description
Ricenroll was created after one Christmas dinner with newly met friends in 2002.
While we had various fresh sushi rolls and nigiri for our guests, most of people preferred
the California roll. Noticing the pattern, we came up with the idea of setting up a quick
service sushi roll restaurant with majority of them with cooked ingredients. This also solved
the problem of finding a quick and healthy meal on the go for our kids.
In March, 2002, our first store was open on Madison St. (between 2nd & 3rd) in Seattle
downtown. Since then we have added two more stores in Bellevue and Seattle Area,
Bellevue Square store and Westlake Shopping Center.
As we expand, we have noticed the lack of fresh sushi products readily available in
other markets. This led us to develop our wholesale division in early 2003. As a result, we
currently supply to over thirty different customers and expect to grow more in 2008.
